Job description

About the Role

This pivotal position anchors Dyson MEA’s daily direct eCommerce functions. The Executive will oversee and push forward the trading initiatives across Dyson.com platforms in the region, guaranteeing the timely launch of new products, accurate implementation of promotional campaigns, adherence to site standards, and continuous performance monitoring and reporting.

This role emphasizes execution, demanding an organized, commercially savvy individual comfortable juggling multiple markets simultaneously. Success in this fast-paced environment requires ownership of tasks and progressive growth into broader commercial responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the eCommerce manager to manage the trading calendar for all MEA .com markets, ensuring all new product launches, promotions, and key sales events are executed precisely and on schedule.
  • Communicate promotional details to distributor and platform teams including gifts with purchase, bundles, discount codes, and exclusive periods; verify correct implementation pre-launch.
  • Monitor daily and weekly trading results across markets, identify underperformance, stock shortages or website issues, and advise the Manager with proposed solutions.
  • Maintain and distribute the trade plan and promotional calendar monthly to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Traffic and CRM Managers to align trading actions with media and lifecycle campaigns at important sales moments.
  • Ensure homepage uniformity across .com marketplaces with accurate hero banners, featured products, promotional messages, and new product positioning consistent with brand and market priorities.
  • Manage content updates on distributor-operated websites, including briefing for product, category, and campaign pages and quality reviews before and after launch.
  • Perform routine site health audits across markets checking for pricing accuracy, available inventory, broken links, out-of-date content, and usability issues; escalate for resolution.
  • Assist with onboarding new .com markets as Dyson expands, coordinating content readiness, testing, and launch procedures.
  • Prepare weekly performance summaries by market covering units sold against targets, revenue, conversion rates, average order value, and top/bottom SKUs, with clear analysis and recommended actions.
  • Track promotional expenditure versus budget weekly and report variances to the eCommerce Manager.
  • Support monthly eCommerce trading reviews by preparing market performance reports highlighting risks, challenges, and priorities.
  • Analyze consumer behavior metrics onsite—sessions, conversion rate, bounce rate, checkout abandonment—and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as the operational liaison for distributor partners by coordinating content updates, resolving website problems, and ensuring follow-up on outstanding tasks.
  • Ensure distributor teams receive new product assets, pricing, and information prior to launches and monitor readiness within deadlines.
  • Support eCommerce Manager in reviewing distributor performance through data preparation and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Oversee stock status biweekly across markets; escalate SKUs at risk of stockout within a week and track slow-moving inventory.
  • Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to address fulfillment challenges, delivery delays, and customer escalations demanding operational input.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years experience in ecommerce, digital retail, or online trading roles focusing on trading execution, operations, or merchandising.
  • Strong organizational talent enabling management of multiple markets and workflows without losing detail.
  • Comfort with data: ability to extract, assess, and present trading metrics consistently.
  • Exposure to ecommerce platforms directly or through coordination with merchandising or technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly brief external partners and efficiently track task completion.
  • Proactive and self-driven approach, taking ownership and promptly raising issues independently.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience working in MEA or GCC markets with understanding of local consumer behaviors and distributor models.
  • Background in premium consumer sectors such as electronics, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with enterprise ecommerce systems like Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Magento.
  • Basic knowledge of analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
