Role Overview

We seek a dedicated Shift Duty Engineer to join our facilities team. This role requires overseeing engineering operations, ensuring smooth functionality of equipment, supervising technicians, and handling emergency maintenance tasks. The role also involves project support and participation in audits and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering technicians ensuring efficient team performance
• Maintain continuous operational integrity of all equipment
• Respond promptly to and prioritize emergency maintenance requests
• Assist with planning, overseeing, and executing engineering projects
• Contribute to audit processes and staff training programs

Candidate Qualifications and Attributes

• Demonstrated passion for engineering disciplines
• Preferred background in electrical engineering and gas welding
• Enthusiastic to face and resolve new challenges
• Flexible to work in shift-based schedules
• Previous experience as a Duty Engineer or a similar role within hospitality
• Holding a Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering
• Experience in building maintenance operations
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and initiative-taking capabilities
