Drying Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Drying Technician to join our energetic team. This role involves managing and executing restoration efforts on properties impacted by water and fire damage. You will play a crucial part in optimizing drying processes, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting operational efficiency within a hands-on and fast-paced environment focused on quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Skillfully operate drying machinery and associated equipment to reach target moisture levels accurately.
• Perform routine strip-out tasks using various hand and power tools.
• Continuously monitor process data, adjusting parameters as necessary to maximize drying effectiveness.
• Inspect materials throughout drying phases to determine scheduling for post-restoration repairs.
• Keep comprehensive records of operational metrics, including equipment conditions and power usage.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols, properly handling all tools and abiding by construction site safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to refine procedures, minimize equipment downtime, and boost productivity.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in restoration activities.
• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools within construction or related environments.
• Capability to interpret technical manuals and safely operate machinery.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a cooperative, team-focused approach.
• Background or knowledge in construction and repair work is preferred.
