Job description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to convert initial design ideas, hand-drawn architectural sketches, and engineering instructions into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D CAD drawings, develop 3D models, and prepare floor plans, elevations, structural layouts, and cross-sectional views derived from initial sketches and designer inputs.
- Revise and update existing blueprints and plans to incorporate design changes, client suggestions, or modifications requested on site.
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and project leaders to solve spatial design issues and ensure clarity of technical details.
Required Qualifications
- Completed certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, or Engineering disciplines.
- Strong ability to interpret detailed architectural drawings, structural engineering plans, and building documentation.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.
