Door Technician

Job Summary

The Door Technician will be entrusted with performing general preventative and corrective maintenance activities related to JLL's integrated facility management (IFM) services at the Intel campus. The position operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a possibility of shifting to 12-hour day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a range of preventative and remedial maintenance tasks focusing primarily on fire doors and fire stopping systems across the campus.
• Maintain and update work orders in alignment with JLL's key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Deliver all maintenance tasks adhering to site safety standards and client contractual quality requirements.
• Ensure safety plans such as SPA/Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are current for any works conducted.
• Manage inventory to keep suitable levels of spare parts on site.
• Perform routine site inspections as per JLL and client expectations.
• Comply with organizational and client policies, especially relating to Quality and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
• Provide insights and recommendations on maintenance challenges to the Building Lead.

• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft software and Windows OS.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in installing and maintaining fire doors and/or fire stopping systems.
• At least 2 years’ prior experience in facility maintenance, engineering, or utilities management is required.
• Qualification and experience in painting and decorating, ensuring safety compliance on site.
• General maintenance capabilities, with some foundational plumbing skills preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems and associated methods.

Work Schedule and Additional Details

This role involves a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a potential move to extended 12-hour shifts during the day in the future. Flexibility in working hours is a necessity.
