Position Overview
RL Consultoria e BPO Financeiro is seeking a dependable and detail-conscious Document Digitization Clerk to join their remote team in the United States. This entry-level opportunity involves converting, organizing, verifying, and maintaining both physical and digital documents in a fully remote setting.
Key Duties
- Convert physical documents into digital formats by scanning, uploading, and organizing within digital systems.
- Precisely enter data from paper documents into databases, spreadsheets, and document management platforms.
- Assess the quality, completeness, and accuracy of scanned materials.
- Maintain digital files according to predefined naming protocols, folder hierarchies, and procedural guidelines.
- Perform data entry and index documents to facilitate straightforward retrieval.
- Spot and handle missing, duplicate, incomplete, or improperly processed documentation.
- Confirm consistency between original physical records and their digital counterparts.
- Conduct basic quality assurance and rectify errors in documents as needed.
- Keep accurate electronic records and manage document databases.
- Convert files into suitable digital formats such as PDFs or other approved types.
- Assist in classifying documents, adding metadata, and organizing categories.
- Handle confidential or sensitive documents following company policies.
- Follow document retention and filing procedures to maintain orderly records.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams when clarifications or additional info is required.
- Contribute to document cleanup, archiving, and data migration projects.
- Adhere to security, privacy, and document handling protocols.

Candidate Requirements
- Open to applicants at entry or junior levels.
- Experience ranging from none up to 3+ years in data entry, document or records management, administration, or related clerical roles.
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Competent typing and general computer skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace environments.
- Prior exposure to document management systems, scanning tools, or OCR technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage and organize large quantities of information precisely.
- Excellent organizational abilities and strong time management skills.
- Capacity to detect errors, discrepancies, and missing data.
- Discretion and responsibility in handling confidential material.
