Job description
Overview
Join Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, and contribute to vital defence programmes. This Document Controller position is available in Leicester, Bristol, or Warrington with a hybrid work model, blending office and remote work. The role demands a full-time commitment of 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project documentation within electronic document management systems ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Check document formatting, coding, revision control, and approval criteria.
- Distribute documents to stakeholders for review, approval, and information.
- Generate document status reports and maintain document numbering, archiving, and retention protocols.
- Assist in project handovers while ensuring adherence to governance, quality, and information management standards.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or a similar role involving document management.
- Proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Exceptional organizational skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with document control, information management, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to manage documentation through the entirety of project lifecycles and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant academic credentials in Information Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Security Clearance
Candidates must be capable of obtaining and maintaining Security Check (SC) clearance as stipulated by United Kingdom Security Vetting guidelines.
