As a Document Controller at Flogas, your main responsibility will be managing documentation for EPC contractors involved in our ongoing Phase 2 development. In addition, you will oversee documentation related to supplier purchase orders aiding brownfield project activities at the site.
Although Flogas has historical roots in fossil fuels, the company is committed to transitioning toward 100% renewable energy by 2040. We actively support customers in reducing carbon emissions by facilitating their switch from oil to gas and expanding offerings in heat pumps, solar panels, biofuels, and renewable gases. This strategic direction ensures job security and opportunities for involvement in exciting sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the electronic filing system for all formally issued documents to Flogas.
- Assign drawing and document numbers accurately.
- Ensure strict compliance with document control procedures, including numbering and revision management.
- Enter supplier quotations and paperwork into the Codas system.
- Follow up to secure management approvals for supplier scopes.
- Generate purchase order documentation for suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Proven experience in document control on major projects.
- Familiarity with document control management systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint, or ProArc.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 standards is advantageous.
- Relevant higher national certificate (HNC) or diploma qualifications are beneficial.
