Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch functions across trucking, rail, and barge transport modes.
• Track transport operations to meet On Time Arrival (OTA) goals.
• Confirm, approve, and carry out freight orders ensuring continuous communication with stakeholders.
• Enhance transport planning by selecting vendors, applying triangulation, and choosing the optimal mode of transport.
• Supervise service providers to maintain high-quality and top-tier service standards.
• Address operational exceptions proactively and implement solutions to resolve them.
• Adhere to customs regulations, legal requirements, and transport compliance standards.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to uncover potential cost efficiencies.
• Develop and nurture strong partnerships with vendors and internal teams.

Candidate Profile

• Background in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or freight forwarding operations.
• In-depth knowledge of inland transportation systems.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities coupled with clear communication skills.
• A customer-centric mindset with a drive to achieve results.
• Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving work environment.
