Job Summary

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen workspaces, equipment, and utensils to ensure a hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and clean dirty dishes either manually or using dishwashing equipment to achieve full sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays following established procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Polish silverware using various tools such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or manual cloths to ensure pristine condition.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain proper temperature and chemical levels as required by company standards.
• Organize and keep the dishwashing area tidy and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces routinely.
• Collect and dispose trash properly, including cleaning garbage containers through steam cleaning or hosing.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work zones as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position based at Sodo Culinary, 360 Corporate Drive North, Tukwila, WA 98188. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional details provided during the interview process.

Compensation

The role offers hourly wages ranging from $22.00 to $24.00.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in dishwashing within a high-volume environment is preferred but not mandatory.
