Job Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal grooming, hygiene, and transportation.
• Encourage engagement in social and community activities like shopping and events.
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and acknowledge their progress.
• Promote independence, choice, and advocacy skills.
• Accurately record care activities and progress.
• Communicate consistently with team members to maintain quality support.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Successful completion of background checks and required training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance verification.
• Ability to work respectfully and safely within clients' homes and communities.
• Compassion, dependability, and commitment to making a positive impact.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) or autism.
• Familiarity implementing Individual Activity Support Plans (ASP) and Plans of Service and Supports (PSS).
• Knowledge of behavior support techniques such as redirection, visual prompts, and environmental modifications.
