Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

Position Overview

Circle Health Group at Albyn Hospital is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join their dynamic imaging team. This permanent role requires 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift schedule. The salary can reach up to £25,000 annually depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and training.

Role Responsibilities

• Contribute as a key team member in the imaging department by delivering excellent patient-centered care that meets the needs of patients, consultants, and coworkers.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality under supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
• Maintain a professional attitude aligned with Health Care Assistant and Imaging Assistant standards, while adhering to Nursing Midwifery Council and Health and Care Professions Council codes of conduct.
• Display competence and confidence in all tasks relevant to the Imaging Assistant role within scope of practice.
• Support safe and high-quality care delivery working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with all mandatory training requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in Healthcare Assistant or Imaging Assistant roles is essential.
• Capable of delivering quality customer service, including managing interactions in difficult situations.
• Possession of the Care Certificate is required.
• Must have NVQ Level 1 or be prepared to work towards NVQ Level 2 in healthcare or similar qualifications.
• Willingness to pursue further qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 healthcare certification.
• Basic educational qualifications: GCSE in Maths and English at grade A-C or equivalent functional skills Level 2 evidence.
