The company specializes in both Services, collaborating with major entertainment names like Disney and Nintendo, and Original Games development, including the well-known Dead by Daylight franchise. Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Programmer to join our Core Technologies team, which creates backend and frontend services supporting Behaviour's games. These cloud-based services power features such as matchmaking, player progression, and messaging in games like Dead by Daylight. The incumbent will ensure these systems are reliable, scalable, and secure, fully adopting DevOps principles to maintain and optimize our game infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects that transition our technology towards DevOps methodologies.
- Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, mainly using AWS, to guarantee outstanding system availability and performance.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release processes seamlessly.
- Deploy and oversee Kubernetes-managed containerized applications in production, ensuring clusters are well-maintained, secure, and scalable.
- Collaborate with development teams to meet infrastructure requirements, optimize resources, and improve production system reliability and efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call schedule to promptly address critical infrastructure incidents and minimize downtimes.
- Implement best practices related to testing, security, monitoring, and resource management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least five years in DevOps or infrastructure roles, with a minimum of three years specifically involving cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, application scaling, and reliability management.
- Strong skills in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience utilizing monitoring and observability solutions like Datadog or Prometheus to maintain system health and performance.
- Problem-solving orientation with an ability to handle complex technical challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, facilitating productive partnerships with developers, technical leads, and Core Tech members.
