Job description
Role Overview
This position requires a seasoned DevOps Platform Engineer with 6 to 10 years of professional experience, based in Doha, Qatar. The primary focus is on managing, integrating, and supporting enterprise-grade systems and platforms to enhance operational efficiency and integration reliability.
Core Responsibilities
- Administer and operate Solace PubSub+ messaging platforms and Red Hat Integration components to facilitate smooth system integration between Oracle Fusion and QR systems.
- Configure and manage topics, queues, VPNs, and Camel routes to ensure seamless messaging workflows and integration paths.
- Implement high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and robust security measures using OAuth2, mutual TLS (mTLS), and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Monitor system performance through detailed dashboards, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and incorporate resilience mechanisms such as retries and dead-letter queues (DLQs).
- Design and improve integration workflows, enforce governance practices around naming conventions and version control, while maintaining comprehensive documentation and managing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Collaborate closely with Oracle Fusion teams to establish and uphold API contracts, support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure all components meet standards for compliance, dependability, and operational effectiveness in hybrid IT environments.
Required Expertise and Skills
- Expertise in Solace PubSub+ platform administration and integration.
- Strong background in DevOps methodologies including automation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proficiency with OpenShift Container Platform for container orchestration and management.
- Experience working with API Gateway technologies and designing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and distributed systems integration.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles to embed security into development and operations workflows.
- Competency in logging, tracing, observability, and application performance management (APM).
- Familiarity with system integration platforms and complex enterprise environments.
