Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and oversee DevOps pipelines and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
• Deploy and administer Kubernetes clusters alongside managing containerized applications.
• Automate infrastructure setup and streamline configuration management.
• Monitor and maintain application and infrastructure health focusing on performance, uptime, and reliability.
• Automate scaling, deployment, and operational tasks to enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to optimize deployment processes.
• Resolve production issues related to Kubernetes environments, container orchestration, networking, and underlying infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for security, backups, monitoring, and ensure high availability.
• Support cloud infrastructure operations and contribute to efforts aimed at modernizing infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4 to 9 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.
• Proficient hands-on expertise in Kubernetes technology.
• Certification such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is preferred.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking, deployment models, services, ingress controllers, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
