Role Overview
We are looking for a proficient DevOps Engineer to join our DevSecOps team. This role involves managing infrastructure, collaborating closely with application teams to automate software deployments, and participating in projects focused on infrastructure enhancement and optimization for increased efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and automate CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, CloudBees, and Bitbucket.
- Maintain and support comprehensive DevOps toolsets including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, CloudBees, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus IQ, and Fortify.
- Reduce manual repetitive tasks by developing automation through coding and scripting.
- Utilize DevOps tool APIs to advance automation capabilities.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues within the DevOps platform.
- Support and maintain DevOps tools deployed on AWS infrastructure, container clusters, and Kubernetes environments.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Significant hands-on experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps professional in production settings.
- Strong proficiency in Unix, Linux, and PowerShell scripting.
- Skilled in installing, configuring, integrating, upgrading, and patching CI/CD toolsets.
- Experience customizing Jira and establishing Confluence environments.
- Passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Quick learner with an aptitude for adapting to emerging technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux system administration and networking concepts including IPv4, TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, routing, and load balancing.
- Competent with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, EKS, and EFS.
- Familiarity with ELK stack, Grafana, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, containers, and Kubernetes technology.
