DevOps Administrator

Overview

This role is offered through a partner organization seeking a dedicated DevOps Administrator located in Saudi Arabia. The position involves hands-on operation and enhancement of reliable, secure, and scalable computing infrastructure using modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily system administration on Linux platforms, containers, and Kubernetes clusters, along with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues, document solutions clearly for ongoing reference.
• Collaborate with monitoring specialists to refine monitoring and incident handling procedures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive backup solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Develop infrastructure automation via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and improve automated deployment workflows.
• Enhance interdepartmental cooperation to sustain automated monitoring of critical services and verify data accuracy on dashboard platforms such as Grafana.
• Administer virtual environments, including VMware infrastructure and vendor solutions testing.
• Contribute actively toward infrastructure standards, documentation, and automation projects aimed at system optimization.

Requirements

• Expertise in administering Red Hat and Oracle Linux systems.
• Proficient with Docker containers and advanced Kubernetes platform knowledge.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.
• Hands-on use of Ansible automation and configuration management.
• Skilled in Terraform to manage infrastructure declaratively.
• Advanced proficiency with Git for version-controlled infrastructure development.
• Strong understanding of system monitoring, observability, and infrastructure health management.
• Experience managing VMware virtualization environments.
• Ability to write and maintain scripts or automation programs using appropriate languages.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, with a collaborative mindset.
