About the Role
Join U-Haul as a Detail Specialist, where you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and quality of one of the largest fleets of trucks and trailers in the industry. This entry-level position offers a chance to start your career at U-Haul by cleaning and detailing vehicles, ensuring equipment remains in excellent condition for customer use. Working in our detail bays provides on-the-job learning opportunities and potential progression into other company roles.
U-Haul provides comprehensive training, including the Technician Training Program featuring courses from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul itself. Primary Responsibilities
- Clean, polish, and buff trucks and trailers to maintain a pristine fleet.
- Process vehicles leaving the fleet by removing decals and preparing equipment for resale.
- Operate using industry-standard safety gear and procedures.
- Work efficiently within a production line setting.
- Assist other departments as directed by supervisors, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams as well as independently.
- Consistent attendance and reliability.
