Deputy / Assistant Manager, Contracts (Systems & Services)

Role Overview

The position of Deputy / Assistant Manager in Contracts involves managing contracts related to various fields including IT & Other Systems, Transport Systems, and Electrical & Mechanical Services. The primary responsibility is to oversee contract governance and ensure all tender and contract administration activities adhere strictly to the Land Transport Authority's procedures and standards.

Key Duties

• Participate in preparing cost estimates for new projects, initiatives, or feasibility studies.
• Draft tender documentation and assist in evaluating submitted tenders.
• Administer contracts by handling payment processing, variation valuations, and claims assessment.
• Provide contractual guidance and advice to project teams throughout project lifecycles.

Candidate Profile

• Academic or professional background in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering fields.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in contract administration or project management, ideally involving multi-disciplinary engineering projects, is preferred.
• Familiarity with contract conditions related to IT, engineering, or construction projects is advantageous.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a capability to operate independently.
• Exhibits strong communication, writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative team player who can efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
