Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership by coaching, training, motivating, and inspiring associates to excel both personally and professionally.
• Foster strong relationships among customers, associates, and peers to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth using deep merchandising and product expertise.
• Manage department staffing to align with business demands ensuring optimal coverage.
• Oversee associate performance through ongoing communication, development, reward systems, recognition, and constructive feedback.
• Analyze sales and inventory reports collaborating with assistant management to recommend improvements related to inventory, overhead organization, and cross merchandising strategies.
• Maintain full stock availability and ensure the department's overhead organization is aligned with plans.
• Address customer issues promptly, escalating when necessary to resolve complaints effectively.
• Communicate ongoing store sales, promotional events, and activities during meetings and rallies to keep the department informed and engaged.
• Enforce all safety protocols and asset protection standards to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Sound decision-making capacity with effective problem-solving skills.
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience leading teams in a retail or similar environment.

Compensation

The offered salary range for this position lies between $23.75 and $26.00 per hour.
