Role Overview

The Dental Technician position is a full-time onsite role based in Singapore within Dental Designs Clinic. Responsibilities include creating, modifying, and repairing dental prostheses including crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, and orthodontic devices by utilizing both digital and traditional methods. The technician will interpret prescriptions collaboratively with dentists, select suitable materials, perform exact shade matching, and uphold superior quality standards in lab outputs. Additional duties involve operating and maintaining dental laboratory equipment, managing workflow of cases, following strict infection control and safety measures, and encouraging ongoing lab process enhancements. This role works closely with the clinical team to facilitate effective patient treatments and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Dentistry and Dental Care to comprehend clinical needs and treatment goals.
• Expertise in Prosthodontics and Dental Technology for designing and fabricating dental prostheses and appliances.
• Proficient laboratory skills, including handling materials, operating lab machinery, and executing precise technical procedures.
• Possession of relevant academic credentials such as a diploma or degree in Dental Technology, Dental Laboratory Technology, or closely related disciplines.
