Deli Assistant

Job Summary

This full-time role is focused on preparing quality hot and cold deli products while prioritizing customer satisfaction at Centra located in Kingscourt, County Cavan.

Main Responsibilities

• Uphold Centra's brand values: pride, energy, imagination, and community focus.
• Prepare fresh food orders including making sandwiches, rolls, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats following portion control guidelines.
• Cook and display food items for sale throughout the day maintaining high presentation standards.
• Maintain exceptional counter displays across all fresh food departments consistently during operating hours.
• Share enthusiasm for quality food by educating customers about ingredients, recipes, and personal favorites.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries in accordance with store policies.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of HACCP training is preferable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in customer service considered an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-moving environment and multitask under pressure.
• A genuine passion for food and inspiring shoppers.
