About the Role

Quadric is pioneering a unique general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture tailored for diverse edge and endpoint devices, including battery-powered smart sensors as well as high-performance automotive and autonomous vehicle systems. Unlike conventional neural network accelerators that only handle segments of machine learning graphs, Quadric's GPNPU runs both neural network graph code and traditional C++ DSP and control code seamlessly. We invite you to join our tight-knit, rapidly expanding team to work on supercomputer technologies optimized for the Edge. Here, you will directly contribute to impactful projects alongside expert technologists in a collaborative, integrity-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to lower and optimize cutting-edge deep neural networks using Quadric's hardware and software platforms.
  • Utilize your deep expertise in mathematical and algorithmic optimization to tackle NP-hard problems effectively.
  • Work collaboratively within the software engineering team to design algorithms that enhance graph-based execution performance on the Quadric architecture.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess an MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline with at least eight years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrate strong capabilities in numerical methods and algorithmic optimizations.
  • Have a thorough understanding of heuristic approaches for solving NP-hard problems.
  • Familiarity with classical algorithms and machine learning methods encompassing Computer Vision, DSP, and Deep Neural Networks.
  • Solid knowledge of graph theory and associated algorithms.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in C++ version 11 or higher.
  • Experience with TVM or MLIR frameworks.
  • Understanding of compiler front-end and back-end engineering.

Expected Achievements Within 12 Months

  • Acquire comprehensive expertise regarding the hardware platform and low-level software ecosystems and leverage this for optimal application performance.
  • Establish a record of successfully implementing optimization passes to efficiently lower deep learning and high-performance computing workloads on the Quadric EPU parallel processor.
