Databricks Administrator with AWS Expertise

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Databricks Administrator skilled in AWS environments to join our team in Kochi, Kerala. This position demands a professional with deep experience in managing Databricks infrastructure alongside a strong grasp of various AWS services and scripting basics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administrate Databricks environments, including UI navigation and settings configuration.
• Conduct architectural analysis to identify and recommend enhancements for existing setups.
• Perform thorough cost analysis related to Databricks usage and optimize accordingly.
• Design and implement dashboards and applications within Databricks to support operational needs.
• Establish guardrails and controls to oversee Databricks feature usage effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in relevant fields.
• Strong expertise with Terraform for infrastructure as code implementation.
• Proficiency in Databricks administration and knowledge of Databricks DABS is advantageous.
• Basic programming skills in Python, SQL, and Bash scripting.
• Solid understanding of Linux command-line operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, KMS, IAM, DynamoDB, Redshift, and the ability to troubleshoot related challenges.
• Experience or familiarity with AWS EMR is considered a plus.
