Data/AI Consultant

Overview

This position entails guiding clients in developing data and AI strategies and solutions that translate their business objectives into analytical and AI-driven approaches. The role supports the design, implementation, and uptake of data/AI projects while leveraging strong consulting expertise and technical proficiency to help unlock value from data and AI investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to identify business challenges and convert them into practical strategies powered by data and AI.
• Lead and participate in client-facing activities including discovery sessions, requirement analyses, solution design, and full-cycle execution of data/AI projects.
• Perform data evaluations, analytics, and feasibility analyses for AI opportunities aimed at enhancing efficiency, decision-making, and business results.
• Develop and assist in deploying data and AI solutions covering areas such as data strategy, governance, analytics platforms, machine learning, and automation projects.
• Create and deliver proposals, business cases, reports, and recommendations to client management and stakeholders.
• Work closely with diverse teams including data engineers, developers, and business analysts to ensure project success.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging data and AI technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into client solutions.
• Contribute to business development through proposal preparation, client presentations, and identifying new opportunities for data/AI services.
• Ensure all deliverables meet required standards for quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Support and mentor junior team members on data/AI approaches and consulting best practices.
• Oversee project timelines, budget management, and deliverable tracking to secure successful client engagements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline; postgraduate degrees are advantageous.
• Between 3 to 4 years of relevant experience within data/AI consulting or analytics, with senior consultant-level responsibility and impact.
• Mandatory possession of Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
• Fluent bilingual skills in Arabic and English are essential.
• Strong consulting abilities combined with analytical and problem-solving prowess.
• Proven track record delivering data and AI-driven solutions in client-facing roles.
• Capability to transform complex technical concepts into straightforward, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of data management, governance, and AI/machine learning frameworks and technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
