This position is a fixed term contract lasting 24 months, based onsite in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain critical data center infrastructure such as power systems (including UPS and PDUs), cooling mechanisms, and fire suppression equipment.
• Perform scheduled environmental checks monitoring temperature, humidity, and possible water leaks.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
• Provide support for facility maintenance and installation of equipment as needed.
• Manage cable organization and maintain a clean, well-organized data center environment to ensure operational readiness.
• Manage physical security by operating access control and CCTV systems, escorting visitors, maintaining security logs, and ensuring adherence to security policies including timely reporting of incidents.
• Monitor IT system health and perform first-line troubleshooting as well as routine system administration duties.
• Support backup processes, disaster recovery measures, service request handling, incident management, access control, and basic security checks.
• Assist in change management processes and maintain detailed documentation of systems, assets, and operational activities, including generating reports and keeping maintenance records up to date.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or degree in IT, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in IT operations or data center environments is required.
• Understanding of infrastructure systems alongside IT operations fundamentals.
• Familiarity with security principles and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness and ability to work shifts and respond promptly to emergencies.

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Data Center Operations certification.
• Certifications related to basic IT infrastructure.
• Security awareness certification.
