About the Role
NetWitness delivers sophisticated solutions for threat detection, incident investigation, and response aimed at protecting critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. We are looking for a skilled Senior Cybersecurity and Operational Technology Specialist to join our team supporting customers based in Qatar and the surrounding region.
This position demands availability for onsite support within Qatar and requires travel for regional and international customer engagements, including complex investigations, cybersecurity assessments, consulting projects, and incident response activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local sales teams to craft technical proposals and customer engagement plans.
- Lead thorough cybersecurity posture assessments for customers' IT and OT landscapes.
- Identify vulnerabilities and security gaps, suggesting enhancements to improve cyber resilience.
- Convert assessment results into practical security improvement strategies to strengthen defense maturity.
- Design secure OT network architectures employing segmentation, zero-trust models, and recognized frameworks like the Purdue Model.
- Conduct detailed threat modeling and cybersecurity evaluations on industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and OT infrastructures.
- Create and execute specialized OT incident response procedures prioritizing process safety and operational uptime.
- Support alignment with cybersecurity frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
- Develop and maintain OT risk assessments, presenting risk priorities clearly to executive stakeholders.
- Provide cybersecurity consulting services remotely and in-person, including proactive activities like compromise assessments, gap analyses, threat hunting, incident readiness reviews, and training.
- Perform digital forensic analysis across endpoints, networks, memory, OT, and cloud systems using industry-standard tools.
- Lead incident response engagements involving triage, malware analysis, threat hunting, and root cause analysis.
- Prepare detailed forensic documentation including reports, timelines, and executive summaries.
- Create or adapt tools and scripts to streamline investigation processes.
- Work collaboratively across teams to counter threats and suggest remediation strategies.
- Offer prompt onsite support in Qatar and be available for regional or international travel as needed.
- Mentor junior analysts and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Candidate Requirements
- Over seven years of experience in cybersecurity with substantial hands-on expertise in digital forensics and incident response.
- Proven experience in securing and assessing OT/ICS environments, including network segmentation, incident response, and security architecture design.
- Strong understanding of OT cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
- Excellent communication skills capable of conveying technical information effectively to executive and customer audiences.
- Preferred certifications include GCFA, GCFE, GCIH, GNFA, GREM, CISSP, CISA, OSCP, or equivalents.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
- Resides in or legally able to work in Qatar with ability to provide onsite customer support as required.
