Job Overview
This role involves a detailed investigation of potential cyber threats and evaluating their impact on cloud-based and instant messaging systems, software, and platforms. The position demands thorough research to understand the security design and architecture of these technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify vulnerabilities affecting cloud and instant messaging services.
- Study security frameworks to grasp the inner workings of the target systems.
- Conduct security assessments focusing on authentication and authorization flaws and demonstrate possible exploit scenarios.
- Devise and validate effective countermeasures to address discovered security issues.
- Innovate and develop methods to enhance research and development efficiency in security investigations.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational background in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Strong enthusiasm and dedication to cybersecurity fields.
- Proven aptitude for solving complex problems and technical troubleshooting.
- Creative, driven, capable of working independently without close supervision.
- Familiarity with Python programming, reverse engineering for mobile and desktop platforms, proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly languages is advantageous.
