Cyber Security Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist with 3 to 4 years of experience focusing on CrowdStrike Falcon platform deployment and management. The role involves supporting customer environments by deploying and configuring the Falcon platform, onboarding endpoints, fine-tuning security policies, troubleshooting issues, and integrating with existing security infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure CrowdStrike Falcon on various customer systems.
• Onboard endpoints/sensors across Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Set up Falcon security policies, including prevention controls, exclusions, and detection parameters.
• Monitor and analyze endpoint security alerts, assisting with incident response when required.
• Support the implementation and optimization of EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and XDR (Extended Detection and Response) solutions.
• Troubleshoot sensor installation, connectivity, policy enforcement, and operational challenges.
• Facilitate integration of CrowdStrike with SIEM, SOAR, and other security platforms.
• Participate in customer implementation, migration, upgrade, and optimization initiatives.
• Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures for deployments.
• Collaborate with SOC teams, security personnel, IT infrastructure, and customers to resolve technical challenges.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and provide technical guidance to customers.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 to 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security roles.
• Practical, hands-on expertise with CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
• Solid understanding of EDR/XDR concepts and endpoint security management.
• Experience in deploying and managing endpoint agents and sensors.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating environments.
• Expertise in configuring security policies, exclusions, detection settings, and conducting alert investigations.
• Knowledge of integrating CrowdStrike with SIEM systems and understanding security operations centers (SOC).
• Basic scripting abilities with languages such as PowerShell or Python are beneficial.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and experience engaging directly with customers.
