Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all relevant permits and authorizations related to export control and customs.
• Ensure compliance with national and international export control regulations.
• Classify goods tariff-wise and handle customs classification procedures.
• Examine, manage, and archive customs and foreign trade documentation.
• Support and assist during customs and official inspections.
• Prepare and maintain policies, process descriptions, and work instructions concerning foreign trade and customs.
• Serve as a liaison for internal departments as well as external partners, authorities, and institutions on all customs and export control matters.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial training, ideally in foreign trade, industry, logistics, or forwarding sectors.
• Several years of professional experience in export control, foreign trade, or customs processing.
• Strong knowledge of German and European foreign trade law.
• Familiarity with international export control regulations, especially U.S. provisions, is advantageous.
• Works in a structured, independent, and dependable manner.
• Strong communication skills, team player attitude, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent command of German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Proficient use of ERP systems and common MS Office applications.
