Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Development Representative (CDR) experienced in building and maintaining relationships with both technical personnel and leadership. This role is crucial in uncovering opportunities through outbound prospecting and generating fresh leads to expand WP Engine’s presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and log detailed contact, account, and opportunity data.
- Develop and nurture existing accounts, aiming to reduce inactivity.
- Identify customer needs through consultative sales techniques and present relevant WP Engine solutions.
- Communicate the advantages of our offerings to prospects across diverse sectors.
- Consistently arrange valuable meetings and opportunities to surpass quota targets.

- Strong enthusiasm for ongoing professional development with aspirations to progress into a closing sales position.
- Receptive to feedback, actively seeking and implementing constructive criticism to refine sales abilities.
- Possess a resilient, performance-focused attitude, maintaining energy and composure despite rejection in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated with a robust work ethic and proven history of exceeding goals.
- Previous experience in sales or outbound prospecting is mandatory; familiarity with structured sales methodologies like Solution Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, Sandler, or SPIN is highly desirable.
- Effective at engaging prospects and building rapport across multiple channels such as phone, video calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Proficient in using Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms to manage and track sales pipelines efficiently.
