Role Overview
Join John Lewis & Partners as a Customer Assistant in our Oxford store, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable in-store experiences that set us apart from competitors. Your dedication to outstanding customer service will foster strong loyalty and enhance our brand reputation.
Key Duties
- Provide inspiring and engaging service throughout the customer journey.
- Utilize product knowledge and sales techniques to boost sales and increase Partnership profits.
- Place customers at the center by understanding their needs and resolving queries proactively.
- Work flexibly alongside the team covering tills, restocking, pricing, and general upkeep of the shop.
- Spot opportunities for improvement and help implement solutions.
- Support profit protection through accurate stock management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Basic proficiency with IT systems.
- Strong verbal communication abilities.
Desirable Experience
- Previous customer-facing roles are advantageous but not mandatory, as full training will be provided.
- Familiarity with merchandising and creating product displays is a plus.
