Job Responsibilities
- Keep assigned areas clean and well-maintained by using proper cleaning tools and equipment.
- Remove debris such as wrappers, broken glass, and ashtray contents from floors.
- Dust and clean slot machines, including detailed areas between machines, doors, and wood surfaces.
- Eliminate scuff marks and clean drink spills promptly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the casino floor, public spaces, offices, restrooms, and other designated areas.
- Operate floor care and specialty cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle and clean biohazardous materials following safety guidelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate maintenance concerns regarding work areas and equipment to supervisors as needed.
- Perform ladder tasks up to 10 feet safely.
- Regularly push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess good interpersonal skills, demonstrating friendliness, positivity, and courtesy in interactions.
- Tolerant to chemicals including cleansers and solvents used in cleaning.
- Experience operating professional cleaning equipment is essential.
- Preference given to candidates certified in operating scissor lifts and high boom equipment.
- Knowledgeable about floor surfaces and appropriate cleaning methods.
- Able to operate specialized equipment such as backpack vacuums, scissor lifts, power washers, and high dusting tools.
