Job description

Role Summary

FedEx is seeking dedicated Couriers to join our Southampton team. This opportunity is open to both newcomers fresh from the test centre and those with prior experience. In this role, you will be the company ambassador, ensuring parcels are delivered promptly to our clients, contributing to our reputation and service quality.

Working Schedule and Compensation

The position requires working 45 hours weekly from Monday to Friday, between 07:30 and 17:30, with a one-hour unpaid break daily. The annual salary offered is £35,123.40.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting and delivering parcels and freight efficiently and securely to customers.
  • Ensuring safety and security of both vehicle and freight during transportation.
  • Performing multiple drop-off deliveries per route.
  • Conducting thorough vehicle procedural checks regularly.
  • Complying strictly with all relevant Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a valid full Class 2 driving licence, along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Card.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive and approachable attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit flexibility as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of driving laws and regulations to ensure safe operation.
