Role Overview

This role involves offering supportive telephone conversations to individuals facing everyday challenges such as exam or work stress, feelings of loneliness after relocation, or low motivation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct voice calls with users during self-selected evening and nighttime shifts.
• Engage actively in conversations and quickly establish rapport.
• Provide practical strategies for coping with common stressors.
• Identify users who may need professional help and guide them accordingly.

Call Details

• All calls are voice-only through the app; video calls are not part of this role.
• Your personal phone number remains confidential and is never visible to users.
• You may end calls or block/report users at any moment.
• Availability is restricted to chosen hours; no calls occur when offline.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work; final-year students are encouraged to apply.
• This is a peer-support role, not a clinical or therapy position, with no diagnosis or treatment involved.
• Comfortable speaking over phone calls.
• Proficient in English; proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam is advantageous.
• Possession of a smartphone with stable internet and access to a quiet environment for calls.
• Open to students, employed professionals, homemakers, and freelancers alike.

Compensation and Benefits

• Earn weekly payments starting at Rs. 6,000, influenced by talk duration, engagement quality, online hours, and profile video standard.
• Payments are disbursed every Wednesday directly to bank accounts.
• Flexible, work-from-home arrangement with no set targets.
• Offer letters provided for part-time engagement and experience letters after three months of service.
• Includes training and onboarding support.
