Opportunity Details

The company is looking for a Cost Controller and Project Controls Advisor to join a regional WA infrastructure project. Reporting directly to the Project Commercial Manager, the selected candidate will oversee cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, planning, and commercial teams and offers a position on a significant regional project ahead of mobilisation with a 2/1 roster schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain precise cost reports and forecasting data.
• Monitor budgets and identify cost variances.
• Assist in monthly cost reporting and review processes.
• Analyze trends to highlight potential commercial risks.
• Reconcile costs against subcontracts and purchase agreements.
• Support the integration of cost and schedule reporting.
• Develop strong working relationships with project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in cost control or project controls on large projects.
• Familiarity with cost management software and systems.
• Strong analytical abilities and reporting skills.
• Willingness to adhere to a 2/1 working roster.
