Cost Control Manager

Position Overview

Unity Holding Company is seeking an experienced Cost Control Manager based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires overseeing budgeting, expense monitoring, supplier management, and cost efficiency efforts within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and expense reports to track cost management effectively.
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date pricing and cost list, measuring variations and providing relevant advice.
• Stay informed about market trends that might affect resource expenses and identify new vendors or cost-saving partnerships.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and authorize purchases alongside the Purchasing Department.
• Regularly verify restaurant food stock values against cashier records to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts for affiliated and distributor stock.
• Perform detailed cost analyses to uncover opportunities for savings and enhanced efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations departments to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of costs.
• Monitor departmental spending, ensuring it remains within approved budget limits.
• Review invoices to confirm that delivered products/services match expectations in terms of quantity and cost.
• Serve as the liaison between auditors and the Supply Chain during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years' experience specializing in cost control within the FMCG sector.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures and principles of Menu Engineering.
• Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to details.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
• Proven adaptability and effectiveness working in dynamic, collaborative work environments.
• Experience working with multi-branch Food & Beverage brands is essential.
