Job description

Role Overview

The Coordinator of Event Technology and Registration manages the entire participant journey within the Cvent platform, supporting firm-wide events and learning programs. This involves designing and developing complex event registration portals, mobile applications, surveys, and digital communication including invitations and notifications.

Key Duties

  • Create and maintain sophisticated event registration websites and mobile apps ensuring smooth participant experiences.
  • Manage program registration website functionality, optimizing data capture and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with event planners to enhance registration and app user experience and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance on event system usage to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for Cvent tools and features like OnArrival, Attendee Hub, Studio, and Supplier Networking.
  • Support shared inbox for event-related queries and assist in generating customized reports for teams.
  • Work with other event technologies as necessary and perform administrative tasks as required.

About the Team

This role works closely with Deloitte University North, the Events Experience team, and other divisions to build and maintain registration sites, mobile platforms, and post-event surveys for diverse events.

Candidate Profile

  • Two to three years of professional experience focused on event registration and data management.
  • Strong proficiency in the Cvent platform including OnArrival, Attendee Hub, and Social Tables; certification in Cvent is an advantage.
  • Experience with additional event software and foundational understanding of HTML and CSS are beneficial.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities, especially during peak times.
  • Knowledge of project management and event coordination is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities along with excellent organization and time management.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French is essential due to the national and global client interactions.
  • Willingness to work beyond normal business hours, provide on-site event support, and travel as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $47,000 to $78,000, with eligibility for bonus incentives.
