Job description
Job Overview
The Contracts Analyst will provide robust post-award contracts support and perform detailed analysis for the Onshore & Operations Support Group, ensuring full alignment with the policies and procedures of QatarEnergy LNG.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support effective post-award contract management within Onshore & Operations Support according to QatarEnergy LNG's established systems and ethical standards.
- Maintain and continuously update the contracts register, monitoring contract validity and capped value usage throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Assist in periodic Contractor Performance Evaluations as mandated by company requirements.
- Facilitate ongoing contractor development initiatives, focusing on evaluation, monitoring, and enhancement with particular attention to local content involvement.
- Review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to verify compliance with contracted rates prior to contractor issuance and create purchase orders via SAP aligned with approved ITPs.
- Manage the execution and administration of Contract Work Orders (CWOs), including finalizing payments and closing contracts.
- Contribute to the formulation and finalization of the annual Contracts Demand Plan to align procurement needs.
- Provide accurate and timely month-end and year-end accrual figures to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely clearance of invoices in strict accordance with contract terms and conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration.
- Bring at least 6 years of practical experience in cost and contract management within the oil and gas sector.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Practical familiarity with SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning systems.
- Strong understanding of contract law and prevalent industry practices.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including advanced capabilities.
