Overview
Convergint is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our collaborative and results-focused team in Windsor, Ontario. This role involves assisting with contractor documentation management, timely communication with customers and internal teams, and ensuring operational efficiency within the legal/contracts department under direct supervision.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support management of Master Subcontract Agreements, including prequalification, insurance, and workers' compensation compliance, aligned with our Subcontractor Management Plan.
- Coordinate with the legal department and escalate contract-related issues as necessary.
- Upload contracts into the database for legal review efficiently.
- Obtain and verify insurance certificates, bonds, and related documents per Request for Proposal or contract requirements.
- Assist the Sales Team with Convergint FlexPay Lease Program processes.
- Manage collection of signatures, document tracking, mailing, and filing of all Canadian contracts.
- Oversee maintenance and renewal tracking of Provincial Licenses for all Canadian offices.
- Administer Convergint’s security clearance program (ACSO).
- Support safety prequalification submissions related to RFQ and project awards.
- Coordinate booking of training sessions and track certifications for safety, trade, and product knowledge across colleagues nationwide.
- Contribute to the development of new safety programs and nationwide communications.
- Consistently act as a top-level service provider to our customers, ensuring preference for Convergint.
- Perform work following applicable provincial, local regulations, best practices, and company health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve operations within the Convergint Technology Center and across the company.
- Stay knowledgeable about all company policies and uphold a professional image and behavior representing Convergint at all times.
- Complete additional duties as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient interpersonal and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse internal and external audiences.
- Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Basic understanding of legal aspects involving contracts, liens, insurance, and bonds.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and goal-driven mindset.
- Effective team player mentality.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities within a dynamic setting.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
- Bilingual skills with preference for French-speaking candidates.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- College diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred; substantial related experience will also be considered.
- Contract Management Certificate is desirable.
- At least two years of experience in contracts administration.
- Minimum of one year financial experience within a construction environment.
