Computer Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Computer Operator to efficiently manage inventory, billing, system monitoring, and reporting functions at our store location in Surat, Gujarat. The role involves maintaining accurate stock data, processing sales transactions, ensuring POS systems operate smoothly, and preparing essential reports for management analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the inventory database by tracking stock inflows and outflows.
• Enter pricing details and daily sales transactions accurately into the store’s billing software.
• Monitor the operation of point-of-sale terminals, barcode scanners, and receipt printers to ensure seamless customer checkout experiences.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot hardware or software issues to prevent disruptions at the point of sale.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and variance reports for management review.

Requirements

• Proficient in handling inventory management systems and data entry tasks.
• Knowledge of basic hardware and software maintenance related to POS devices.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate reports.
• Good problem-solving skills for timely resolution of system issues.

Compensation

The monthly salary for this position ranges between 12,000 and 14,000 INR.
