Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Compensation Manager to partner across various business functions including Content, VFX, and Animation Studios. Reporting directly to the APAC Director of Compensation, this role is pivotal to defining compensation strategies and managing high-impact initiatives within these specialized sectors at Netflix.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership within Content and related units, aligning global compensation strategies alongside HR teams.
  • Drive strategic compensation projects instrumental for business growth and transformation.
  • Leverage analytics to provide insights that inform competitive and industry-aligned compensation decisions amidst the dynamic entertainment landscape.
  • Lead the advancement of compensation expertise within your team, serving as a thought leader.
  • Conduct detailed market analyses to detect trends, identify data gaps, and recommend adjustments to uphold our market-leading compensation philosophy.
  • Work with compensation analytics to develop and improve metrics and dashboards tailored for leaders and managers.
  • Create compensation processes that cater to the unique requirements of the Content sector.
  • Educate and guide HR partners and business stakeholders on compensation frameworks, programs, and best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of compensation experience, ideally with exposure to creative or entertainment sectors within fast-paced, global studios or streaming companies.
  • Proven ability to counsel HR Business Partners and senior executives effectively.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker passionate about compensation with influence across organizational levels.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and adapting to evolving organizational needs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compensation design principles.
  • Exceptional skills in communication and stakeholder engagement.
