Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned, analytical, and detail-focused Compensation Lead to be a key member of our Human Resources team. The role involves designing, executing, administering, and reviewing compensation programs that align with both the company's talent strategy and business goals. The incumbent will ensure compensation systems remain competitive, fair, compliant, and aligned with evolving market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and oversee compensation programs, policies, and procedures that align with corporate objectives.
  • Assess and recommend salary structures, pay ranges, incentive plans, and other compensation-related projects.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and business units to maintain the relevance and effectiveness of compensation initiatives.
  • Perform compensation market surveys and analyze data to evaluate external competitiveness.
  • Track labor market trends, economic factors, and best practices in compensation management.
  • Advise on salary adjustments based on market data and organizational requirements.
  • Ensure all compensation offerings comply with relevant federal, state, and local laws, including FLSA, EEO, and pay transparency regulations.
  • Keep thorough documentation and support both internal and external audits as necessary.
  • Develop and preserve job classifications, salary grades, and job descriptions to maintain consistent internal equity.
  • Conduct job evaluations and compensation analyses to uphold fair and uniform compensation practices.
  • Review and recommend organizational job leveling and structural enhancements.
  • Support annual compensation reviews, including merit and incentive planning.
  • Work with HR and management teams to develop employee recognition and reward programs aimed at boosting engagement and retention.
  • Act as a liaison among HR, Payroll, Finance, and leadership to guarantee compensation accuracy and smooth administration.
  • Provide compensation guidance during recruitment, promotions, and internal movements.
  • Analyze compensation expenditure and propose strategies to manage costs while sustaining competitiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to aid leadership decision-making.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline is required.
  • Holding a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credential is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of advancing experience in compensation roles, including analysis, job evaluation, salary management, and market benchmarking.
  • Experience managing compensation programs within complex, global organizations.
  • Proficient with compensation survey tools and data analytics platforms.
  • Solid understanding of compensation principles, market pricing approaches, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experienced in HRIS software (preferably Workday), Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks independently in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
