Primary Responsibilities
- Support food preparation and service, including preparing mis-en-place for various outlets.
- Follow Avani's guidelines for food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent, quality culinary experiences, and proactively suggest improvements.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all workspaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Uphold food safety and proper handling techniques, including correct dating, storage, and rotation of food items.
- Take care of all hotel property and assets responsibly.
- Engage in departmental training programs to enhance skills and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with departmental checklists and cleaning timetables.
- Assist with events, banquets, and other functions as needed.
- Adhere to personal hygiene, grooming standards, fire safety, and health and safety guidelines.
