About the Role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company seeks a strategic and results-oriented Commercial Operations Manager to lead its commercial department activities. This leadership position reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Director will oversee contract management, proposal development, and client relations while enhancing team performance and commercial outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead contract terms review, negotiate and finalize agreements to secure advantageous deals for the company.
  • Collaborate with legal and internal teams to manage risks and ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare detailed cost sheets and commercial proposals in line with pricing strategies and target margins.
  • Ensure timely delivery of proposals responding to Request for Quotations (RFQs) and tender invitations.
  • Manage and enforce the internal tollgate process to complete all commercial approvals and documentation before submissions or contract execution.
  • Enhance commercial process efficiency and uphold adherence to stage gate procedures.
  • Monitor the entire lifecycle of customer orders, coordinating production follow-ups and delivery schedules.
  • Serve as the primary contact for order status, resolving obstacles by working closely with operations and planning departments.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration across sales, planning, finance, and engineering teams.
  • Initiate and drive process improvements to boost commercial effectiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor commercial activity and highlight improvement areas.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Additional certifications in contract management, commercial negotiation, or project management are beneficial.
  • At least 7 years of experience in commercial management, sales operations, or contract administration, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or energy industries.
  • Proven expertise in negotiating customer Terms & Conditions and preparing cost-based commercial proposals.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including sales, finance, planning, and operations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong grasp of pricing strategies, cost analysis, and proposal development processes.
  • Familiarity with order lifecycle management from purchase order initiation through production and delivery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
