About the Position
Join Balfour Beatty plc as a Commercial Estimator within the Living Places team based in Coventry. This role offers the chance to grow your commercial estimating skills while contributing to crucial infrastructure projects that positively impact communities across the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Generate precise cost estimates and prepare pricing submissions.
- Analyze project data, specifications, and tender documentation carefully.
- Assist in bidding and tendering processes.
- Collaborate closely with operational, commercial, and project teams to ensure alignment.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities from a commercial perspective.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records related to estimating activities.
- Play a role in ensuring successful completion of infrastructure projects.
Candidate Profile
- Possess strong analytical ability and numerical competency.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Skillfully handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Enjoy solving problems and delivering high-quality results.
- Previous experience in estimating or commercial roles within construction, highways, infrastructure, or related sectors is preferred.
