Role Overview
This full-time position requires the operator to be physically present in Jeddah and involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC wood cutting machines to produce furniture parts precisely as per technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include selecting the correct tools and materials, monitoring machine efficiency, and adjusting settings to uphold accuracy, safety, and productivity. The operator must inspect the output for quality, undertake routine maintenance on machinery, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the workshop. Team collaboration with supervisors, designers, and other staff is essential to meet production goals and consistent quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Skillful operation of CNC wood cutting equipment, including initial setup, programming, and minor troubleshooting tasks.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and specification sheets accurately.
- Familiar with woodworking techniques, tools, materials handling, and safety protocols.
- Strong focus on detail to ensure quality control and precision finishing of components.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform routine machinery maintenance.
- Adherence to workplace safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Good communication abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively within a production team environment.
- Previous experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking is advantageous.
