Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join a prominent global manufacturing company based in Ferndown, Dorset. This company is renowned for producing innovative overwrapping machinery that serves leading brands across Confectionery, Cosmetics, Food, and Tobacco sectors worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines equipped with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Hurco controls.
- Perform tool setting and milling operations accurately.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Programming skills are beneficial but not mandatory for this role.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Work 39 hours weekly: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Hourly salary of 16.48, with overtime compensated at 24.72 per hour.
