Role Overview

We are expanding our team to develop a greenfield application aimed at enabling High Performance Computing (HPC) on the Cloud for secure chip design software execution. This opportunity involves creating Hybrid SaaS/PaaS platforms and tools that can scale incrementally to handle the capacity of an entire SaaS application per request.

This role offers the chance to research, design, and automate cloud environments—public, private, and hybrid—to meet customer and internal needs. Our diverse technical team is learning and evolving together across multiple specialized domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, comprehend, and develop cloud software components primarily in Golang, Java, Python, and C++.
• Promote a culture focused on building secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate within a scrum environment alongside other engineers to create core software components for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Conduct proof-of-concept projects to validate new methods and technologies.
• Ensure security across cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies aligned with our objectives and client requirements.
• Engage with broader organizational teams to understand and support their cloud infrastructure needs.
• Support DevOps practices and tooling necessary for developing Cloud SaaS solutions.
• Perform benchmarking and performance analyses of contemporary cloud servers, architectures, and tools utilized by our software.
• Contribute actively to building the future of cloud HPC applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience designing and managing large-scale, production cloud platforms.
• Background in hybrid on-premises and SaaS product delivery.
• Understanding of cloud and application security protocols.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions across public, private, and hybrid multi-cloud environments involving IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS providers.
• Knowledge of cloud IPaaS offerings on Azure, AWS, and/or Google platforms.
• Expertise in cloud and hybrid filesystems and secure data transfer across cloud boundaries.
• Strong command of at least one major programming language.
• Experience with disaster recovery strategies and multi-availability zone deployments.
