About the Role and Team

The Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Architect team at BytePlus is tasked with designing and delivering advanced cloud infrastructure solutions to empower clients in using BytePlus Cloud services—encompassing compute, storage, database, network, and containers—to boost their business growth. The team collaborates closely with sales and pre-sales System Architects to contribute technical expertise, analyze market insights, and promote best practices aimed at customer success and improved business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales SAs to architect optimized cloud solutions utilizing BytePlus cloud services tailored to customers' business needs, technical designs, and infrastructure usage.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of BytePlus cloud service technologies and use cases to offer professional technical advice, best practices, and communicate effectively to customer decision-makers the value and benefits of BytePlus cloud offerings, facilitating business conversions.
• Perform industry-specific market research and scenario analysis focusing on sectors such as internet, automotive, finance, and retail to monitor product trends, new business models, market shifts, and client business directions, informing product development and competitive positioning.
• Create customized solutions for various business cases reflecting common customer requirements and product strengths; provide professional guidance and best practices to optimize customer expenses and efficiency during cloud migrations and AI innovation initiatives, ensuring client business success.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in roles such as solution engineering, IT solution consulting, or pre-sales.
• Extensive experience with public cloud services including areas like compute, storage, database, networking, container technologies, or cloud-native environments; strong familiarity with the technical principles and architectures behind these products.
• Practical experience supporting cross-cloud migrations, data center to cloud migrations, including migration of ECS, storage, databases, networking, and containerized applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT architectures in typical enterprises from industries like internet, automotive, retail, or finance, along with hands-on experience designing and deploying public cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Strong aptitude for learning and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-moving startup-like environments with a proactive and positive mindset.
